Chapter 5. Conclusions

The challenge of inclusive teaching is that it is always changing and evolving. It is necessary to consistently reflect on and evaluate your biases and classroom practices. Collecting data on student performance disaggregated by race and gender as well as feedback from students on how they feel in the classroom can be helpful in guiding pedagogical changes. Most importantly, you are not on this journey alone, many supports and resources exist to help support you and ensure you are making the most impactful changes to improve the equity and inclusivity in your classroom.
