What: on January 22, 1973, the Supreme Court made a decision on abortion rights in the United States.  This was a very polarizing issue and left many Catholics and Conservatives upset. This however was viewed as win for many second wave feminist how were actively fighting harsh abortion laws throughout the country.  This was just the beginning.  While the Pro-choice movement outlook was the majority opinion of the time, many more radical anti abortion advocates began being more vocal about their distain for the ruling.
