11.4 CSU Alum: Marilyn Orseno

Marilyn Orseno, another CSU graduate, was named the 2023 Ohio recipient of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History National History Teacher of the Year. She teaches AP U.S. History and College Credit Plus American Government at North Royalton High School and has been recognized for her innovative teaching methods, which engages students in historical analysis and critical thinking.
