A Guide to Rhetoric, Genre, and Success in First-Year Writing (Interactive Edition) is currently undergoing review to improve accessibility and align with the 2024 ADA Title II digital accessibility requirements and WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.

We are actively working to ensure that the text, images, tables, and overall structure of the book meet accessibility standards. While most content has been designed to support accessible reading and navigation, some interactive H5P activities may not yet fully meet all accessibility requirements.

These interactive elements are intended to support learning but are not required to understand the core material of the text. Instructors using this book may wish to provide alternative formats or equivalent activities if a student encounters difficulty with an interactive component.

This textbook also contains links to third-party multimedia resources (such as YouTube videos). While we attempt to select materials with captions and accessible features, accessibility of third-party content may vary.
