Distributors achieve their well-articulated business agenda and goals by effectively implementing the many products, policies and programs that have emanated from Detroit over the past 130-years. Greater Cleveland’s many dealers exemplify the very best the domestic auto industry has to offer and especially when it comes to nurturing special personal relationships with their many loyal customers. They not only offer good car dealers to the buying public; but also, provide quality repair services on a daily basis.
This study will concentrate on the evolution of the domestic auto industry with special emphasis placed on Detroit’s Big Three. It also will deal with many successful Cleveland dealers who positively implemented the various corporate policies and programs for the benefit of all involved. Focusing in on Cleveland auto may provide some useful insight regarding what comprises useful business practices in that industry, as well as some of the economic dangers to avoid.
