This ebook is a sandbox and a resource book for materials created by students in HIS 299: Introduction to Historical Studies at Cleveland State University during the Fall 2022 semester. HIS 299 emphasizes transferable skills and career readiness for history and social studies majors. Students will explore the Five Career Diversity Skills outlined by the American Historical Association: Communication, Collaboration, Quantitative Literacy, Intellectual Self-Confidence, and Digital Literacy through projects designed to inspire their path through the history and/or social studies major and beyond.
