18.8 Levin Graduates Lead: Grace Gallucci
Grace Gallucci, a Levin College graduate, is the Executive Director of the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA), a special district responsible for transportation planning and infrastructure development across a five-county region in Northeast Ohio. With over 25 years of experience in transportation finance and planning, Gallucci has led NOACA in its mission to improve regional mobility, enhance environmental sustainability, and support economic growth.
Before joining NOACA, Gallucci gained valuable experience in strategic planning, finance, and project implementation through key positions at the Chicago Transit Authority and the Regional Transportation Authority of Northeastern Illinois. Her expertise has been essential in guiding NOACA’s efforts to develop comprehensive transportation plans that address the diverse needs of the region’s communities.
Gallucci is recognized for her collaborative leadership, working closely with local governments, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure that transportation projects are equitable and accessible. Under her direction, NOACA has made significant strides in public transit, roadways, and bike paths, contributing to a more connected and sustainable Northeast Ohio.
In addition to her role at NOACA, Gallucci is an affiliated faculty member at Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering, where she shares her expertise with the next generation of transportation professionals. Her contributions to the field have earned her national recognition, establishing her as a leading figure in transportation planning and public administration.
