About the Author
Clayton Wukich is an associate professor of public administration and the interim director of the Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University.
He earned his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh and has professional experience at the federal, state, and local levels of government. His current research centers on emergency management, and he serves as a co-principal investigator on a National Science Foundation-funded project investigating the 2023 East Palestine train derailment.
