6.26 Dave Greenspan: Leadership in Local and State Government
Dave Greenspan (Republican) is a former Ohio state representative who served from 2017 to 2020. Before his tenure in the state legislature, Greenspan was involved in local government, serving on the Cuyahoga County Council and the city council of Sandy Springs, Georgia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting from Troy University and has a background in communications and broadcasting.
During his time as a state representative, Greenspan focused on improving local infrastructure, enhancing public safety, and promoting fiscal responsibility. He successfully sponsored several pieces of legislation, including measures to increase transparency in government operations and initiatives aimed at reducing bureaucratic inefficiencies.
Today, Dave Greenspan continues to serve as Westlake’s city council president and as an advisory committee member for the Levin School. In this role, he contributes his wealth of experience and insights, guiding the development of programs that aim to educate and empower future leaders in public service.
