9.9 Attorney General

The Attorney General is the chief legal officer of Ohio, representing the state in legal matters. This role includes providing legal advice to state agencies and officials, overseeing law enforcement initiatives, and ensuring the state’s laws are upheld in both civil and criminal cases. The Attorney General also supervises the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, which aids local law enforcement with advanced crime investigation techniques​​.
